5 Article-Submission Requirements
for The Caregiver’s Voice1. ORIGINAL CONTENT and # of WORDS
Submit an original 500 — 1,000-word article.
2. TWO LINKS
Include no more than two URLs. ONE and up to two links that are relevant to your article — your website URL and/or a direct link providing more information about your topic.
URL FORMAT: Include the URL in brackets immediately after the anchor (descriptive) text. EXAMPLE: The Caregiver’s Voice website — (descriptive text) and [http://www.TheCaregiversVoice.com] (URL).3. TWO to THREE IMAGES
Attach TWO or THREE original images — jpg/jpeg-formatted files of the author and a feature image or two.
A close-up author photo (head and shoulder shot). Corporations/Agencies/Organizations may use their company logo.
A well-lit and focused second image to be used as the feature image — preferably, an action shot that will be shared via social media and in our newsletter.
Submit only original images — you must own the rights. We do NOT accept stock, creative commons, or other licensed images. We prefer images that you take or have someone take of you.
Crop images to reflect your article content. Size images between 75 – 100 KB and 760-1200 pixels on the longest side.
Label your images in two parts. First, include the author’s last or company/organization/agency name. This first part will be the same for your 2-3 submitted photos to facilitate easy filing on our end. Follow the name with a dash and a one- or two-word description to distinguish each image. EXAMPLE: “The Caregiver’s Voice — Home Page” The second image label: “The Caregiver’s Voice — [description]”.
4. AUTHOR BIO / COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Please include a 50-word author biography or company description that is relevant to your submitted content. This will appear at the end of your article next to your author image / company logo. Your author or company link will appear here.
5. HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ARTICLE
SEND THE FOLLOWING IN ONE EMAIL to: (click on) The Caregiver’s Voice Article Submission.
Send the text of your article within the textbox of your email reply to our prior correspondence. This gives us the context for your submission. Do NOT attach your article.
ONLY ATTACH IMAGES in your email. See Item 3, above.
By submitting your guest post, you grant The Caregiver’s Voice the right to publish your article and photo(s) on The Caregiver’s Voice website, the TCV Newsletter, and via other online media.
The Caregiver’s Voice reserves the right to edit text and edit images to fit editorial needs.
The Caregiver’s Voice may revise these guidelines from time to time.
