Please Sign this Petition to add Dementia Research and Prevention as a global priority at the G20 Summit
Australia will host the next meeting of the Group of Twenty (G20) in November. Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Abbott, is asked to place dementia prominently on the G20 agenda. He will follow the lead of the British Prime Minister who recently hosted the G8 Dementia Summit, and called dementia “the disease that steals lives, wrecks families and beaks hearts” and recognized it as “an increasing threat to global health.” Adapted from the website: Let’s make dementia a G20 priority
On January 23, 2014, I was the 190th person to sign the petition. Two days later, there were 522. One week after I signed the petition (January 30), there were already over 4,500 signers. Will you join us to help meet the 20,000 signers goal?
Need 20,000 signatures including yours.
Be part of this historic call to action as dementia awareness gains ground around the world.
Click to make dementia a G20 priority then sign the petition and urge your friends, family, and colleagues to do the same. All that’s needed is your country and email address.
Let’s send a strong message to the world that this is an important issue that cannot wait.
Dear Brenda,
