A man with Alzheimer’s proposes marriage to his love (his wife)… again.
“Let’s do it,” he said while watching a wedding scene on TV.
His wife asked, “Do what?”
He pointed at the TV.
“Do you want to get married?” his wife asked.
“Yes,” he said, grinning.
At times, when people with dementia forget their loved one’s name, it’s heartwarming to know one remembers and still loves his girl enough to get married.
Lisa Marshall, of Andover, Connecticut, and her husband, Peter, got married… again.
