PillRite – For People who use Supplements and/or have Chronic Conditions
Whether you’re active, healthy, and take supplements or live with chronic conditions requiring prescription medications, PillRite’s Medication Organizer can save you time and prevent medication headaches, later. Caregivers, you will save time with this pillbox organizer.
One of the major preventable health care issues is compliance.
Thirty percent of the time, people miss their medications, double up, or in some way don’t follow their doctor’s orders. Sometimes, the results can be fatal.
Even those of us who take supplements can benefit from a pill organizing tool like PillRite’s Medication [and Supplement] Organizer.
How much time does it take you to open each bottle and take your pills each day?
Imagine the time you’ll save if you fill your pillboxes once a month or even every other month.
I try to save time wherever I can.
I figure the three to five minutes I spend opening my supplement and Rx bottles daily
would add up to almost two months in an average lifetime!
PillRite’s Medication Organizer makes it easy to manage medications one month or even two months at a time.
It’s an efficiently organized caddy with eight pillboxes—either four weeks of morning and afternoon doses or eight weeks of one per day dosing.
It features a little travel bag (pictured) for up to two pillboxes filled with medications and/or supplements.
Also, an ingenious idea–refill markers—for when you run out of medications.
Finally, it includes a pad of sheets with a convenient way of recording your medications, strength/dose, frequency, and reason for taking.
Two downsides if you have arthritis in your fingers—
- While they are easily removable from the stand, arthritic fingers will have a hard time opening each pill compartment. I imagine with repeated use, the compartments will open more easily.
- However, there are instructions affixed to one of the pillboxes to open all seven days at once by twisting the corners of the pillbox in opposite directions. What a great idea! I wonder, does this work with all pillboxes? Awww, I tried it four times and finally the compartment for Wednesday opened.
For those who are not yet ready to go with electronic pill dispensers, this is a great alternative for up to four weeks of twice-daily medications or eight weeks of once-a-day medications and/or supplements.
What’s your time worth?
Better yet, what’s your health worth?
Better yet, when patients loose sense of time of day, day-of-the-week, etc.
