The Caregiver’s Voice is sad to announce the sudden passing of an inspirational contributor to our site.
Lynette Wilson Juul, who with her son, Peter, were featured caregivers at The Caregiver’s Voice, had a fatal car accident.
It is with great sadness that yesterday, we lost a truly inspirational caregiver who loved caregiving as much as she loved life.
We have lost a very special human being.
Her husband and neighbor alerted me to this sad news and add that the picture of the car in the article below is not hers: The Poughkeepsie Journal published this article, Monday.
Dear Peter, your mom shared with me how much you enjoyed fishing and made me envious of the fresh trout you caught. (She’d send me pictures.)
Mads, you have lost your partner in this life.
I am so sorry for your loss.
The caregiver community has suffered a great loss.

That’s pretty bad that a stock photo of the car accident was used. It shows no respect for
the families feelings; the newspaper is just using the life of one person as ‘fill’. If they can’t
even put the real picture in, can one believe what what the paper prints?
The photo did have Lynette’s hubby, neighbor, and me wondering.
We did not know Lynette but she must have been a superhero to have accomplished the work she had done. Our thoughts and prayers to her family, friends, community, and everyone who knew her.

My heart and prayers are with the family. Such a sad loss to all.
Unfortunately, it appears the Pougheepsie Journal used a stock photo (misleading) causing the family concern last night. I even hoped that maybe she was still alive! Yet, her husband did explain the police had Lynette’s driver’s license. Still, we need better journalism as pictures speak volumes.
