The 11 California CRCs help those who care for an adult with a brain impairment acquired after the age of 18. Most services are at no cost to the caregiver.
Non-profit education and counseling center for older adults and families on elder care, law, finances, and consumer protection. Primarily serves southern California but offers invaluable information for caregiving families across the U.S.
Provides health and socialization services to elderly and disabled adults from 9am -3pm. Staffed by trained professionals and covered by MediCal and SCAN and private pay. Caregiver support group meetings (with free respite) every Tuesday from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.

Licensed adult day care center that provides a warm and inviting social place for the elderly who need it most. Caring staff members provide every need including nutritious snacks and lunch, medications, transportation, and entertainment. Most of the seniors in The Salvation Army’s care are diagnosed with Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, or have had a stroke and should not be left alone. Mission: keep them home with their families and out of a nursing homes as long as possible. Two caregivers support groups meet in the afternoon and evening of the 3rd Wednesday each month.
